In 2005, the family proceeded to modernize the Pieralisi company's machinery and later entered the olive oil trade.

In 2023 , it proceeded with a new modernization of machinery for the best quality and service to its customers.

Today the family cultivates over 2500 thousand olive trees and has created a group of producers of the Mylopotamos region with over 200 active members. It standardizes its own olive oil with the brand name Golden Mill. The GERARCHAKI family accepts visits for guided tours of the olive oil mill during the summer season but also throughout the year to show you how extra virgin olive oil is produced and to taste the flavors of Cretan olive oil.
